Job Description
The Product Design Engineer is responsible for executing the Product Design and Development (PDD) process from concept through production. This role collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams to develop cost‑effective, manufacturable, and high‑quality product solutions while adhering to safety, quality, and engineering standards.

Skills & Qualifications
- Four‑year degree in mechanical engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in design for manufacturing
- Experience in industrial equipment design
This is an on‑site position with the possibility of ad‑hoc remote work due to personal appointments or family commitments. After six months, employees are offered one remote workday on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. The work environment is a manufacturing shop setting, which includes exposure to moving mechanical parts, machinery, tools, and equipment. Employees may encounter vibration, fumes, airborne particles, motorized vehicles, welding and machining operations, and varying weather conditions.
There is a risk of electric shock and occasional exposure to dirt, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, and temperature extremes. The noise level can be very loud at times, necessitating hearing protection. Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Permanent position based out of Blair, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90,000.00 – $ per year. Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).
