Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client, a leading energy and power generation company, is seeking a  
** Mechanical Design Engineer IV
** to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer IV, you will be part of the Fleet Engineering Department  
** supporting global gas turbine engineering teams.
** The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

** Remote (U.S., EST preferred)

** Pay Range:**  $59/hour

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform advanced structural analysis using finite element modeling (FEM)

+ Conduct life assessments including fatigue, creep, and fracture mechanics

+ Execute dynamic and modal analyses for gas turbine components

+ Support root cause analysis (RCA) and provide technical solutions

+ Present engineering findings to internal stakeholders and design teams

** What's Needed?*
* + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related field

+ 4+ years of experience in engineering design with FEA (Ansys)

+ 4+ years of experience with NX (CAD)

+

Experience with GD&T, engineering drawings, and PLM/Teamcenter

+ Ability to work with export-controlled material (U.S. Citizen required)
