- Design, evaluate, and maintain electrical systems including power distribution, backup power, and control systems
- Lead and support preventive and corrective maintenance efforts for critical electrical infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support capital projects, system upgrades, and operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal policies
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and maintenance procedures
- Provide engineering support for root cause analysis, system optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovations that enhance performance and efficiency
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E)
- Experience with power systems, including low and medium voltage distribution, UPS systems, and generators
- Proficiency in engineering tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, or similar)
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on safety and reliability
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams - A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Preferred:
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE certification
