What You’ll Do
  • Design, evaluate, and maintain electrical systems including power distribution, backup power, and control systems
  • Lead and support preventive and corrective maintenance efforts for critical electrical infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support capital projects, system upgrades, and operational improvements
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal policies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and maintenance procedures
  • Provide engineering support for root cause analysis, system optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovations that enhance performance and efficiency
What You’ll Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E)
  • Experience with power systems, including low and medium voltage distribution, UPS systems, and generators
  • Proficiency in engineering tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, or similar)
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on safety and reliability

    Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE certification
