Technical Construction Project Coordinator Description
We are seeking a highly organized individual with a technical mindset that enjoys working on, educating, and communicating with construction project teams to sharpen their skill set as a Technical Construction Project Coordinator. The role focuses on plumbing roof drain systems – Siphonic.
This position requires the ability to use REVIT – pre‑interview skills test is required to show skill level is not beginner; need to be able to manipulate plumbing pipe.
Salary: $60,000 to $69,000 per year based on current abilities.
Work from home, 8AM CST to 5PM CST standard day, no weekend requirements.
Start date by end of September 2024.

You will collaborate closely with construction teams including project managers, engineers, contractors/installers, and various others from design layout all the way through full project completion.

The person taking this role will be trained extensively before interacting with clients. With proper commitment, you will have a full understanding of how to use our balancing software, which is a REVIT API.
Responsibilities- Be part of a team to support the success of everyone.
- Coordinate project activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, BOMs, and related reports in proper folder locations following clear procedure.
- Help maintain project related data, ensuring accuracy and daily completeness on shared spreadsheet.
- Monitor project progress and provide daily updates at kick‑start morning meeting.
- Assist in the identification and resolution of project issues, risks, and dependencies.
- Implement any changes with a positive attitude and urgency.
- Gather major design information from the client before sending it to the inside team and retrieve any missing data or dimensions they request.
- Speak up for process improvements if there is a better way to do something.
- Always spend time with the client until they feel totally comfortable with the system – no limit to time, questions, designs, or changes they want to review.
- Must be proficient in REVIT and other Autodesk software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience); degree is not required with experience.
- Proven experience in project coordination or project management.
- Construction experience such as project coordinator, project manager, technical estimator, design engineer, design architect, mechanical engineer, plumbing engineer, civil engineer, BIM modeler, or BIM coordinator.
- Experience in plumbing or civil pipe systems a plus, but not needed.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
