Primary Responsibilities

• Lead or assist with transportation planning and engineering studies on a variety of projects throughout Wisconsin
• Prepare environmental and design documentation including report writing
• Work on automated highway design covering plan preparation, drainage design, quantity takeoffs, and construction cost estimating
• Participate in and/or lead public involvement activities
• Assist with project pursuits including proposals, interview support, and estimating level of effort
• Serve as a technical resource for project staff and support their professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from a U.S.
  
  -accredited college or university
• 8+ years of transportation design experience
• Professional Engineering (PE) license from the State of Wisconsin — required
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D — required
• Experience with the WisDOT facilities development process — highly preferred
• Applicable U.S.
  
  -based work experience required
