These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.
- Assist with services specific to the procurement and installation of energy efficient equipment and systems which may include reviewing applications for pertinent supporting documentation, researching customer energy efficiency and participation data, preparing and maintaining analysis spreadsheets, assisting with the management of vendors/contractors.
- Participate in the selection and management of contractors for implementation of C&LM (Conservation and Load Management) programs.
- Provide support to more senior Energy Engineers by collecting energy efficiency performance data and assisting with data analysis.
- Assist with inspections of customer facilities and performance of energy analysis to determine electric and natural gas energy savings.
- Participate in contractor services inspection and validation of program implementation.
- Support analysis of high efficiency HVAC equipment, motors, controls, lighting systems, and other equipment to determine electric and natural gas energy savings compared to baseline equipment and/or building codes.
- Provide support services for energy efficiency program team and program marketing activities.
- Support the evaluation of new technologies and other research and development activities.
Technical Knowledge/Skill: Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Working knowledge of standard office computer software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.). Knowledge of building systems including HVAC equipment, air handlers, pumps, motors, and VFDs. Ability to review building plans showing HVAC, lighting, and control systems. Familiarity with local energy codes. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Education: Baccalaureate degree in engineering required – (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
Experience: One (1) plus year(s) of experience. Relevant experience and ability to read and interpret engineering documents and drawings.

Certifications:
An Engineer in Training (EIT), Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or accredited Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Professional is preferred.

Compensation and BenefitsEversource offers a competitive total rewards program. Salary is commensurate with your experience. This position is eligible for a potential incentive. The annual salary range for this position is: $87,530.00–$97,260.00.
