Our client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager with a passion for civil engineering, experience, high standards, and mentoring skills to join their team.
Pay Range$85K - $150K
Responsibilities- Lead civil design for site development, water resources, and multi-disciplinary projects.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to initiate and execute projects from proposal to completion.
- Ensure project success by adhering to work plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee design team and ensure quality and efficiency.
- Plan, layout, and refine construction/redevelopment sites.
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Manage stormwater systems, green infrastructure, and conveyance.
- Interface with regulators and secure project approvals.
- Collaborate with design and field teams for construction.
- Manage public bidding and contractor relationships.
- Ensure designs meet standards and regulations.
- Bring innovative solutions and tailor deliverables to community needs.
- Work with architects, engineers, planners, and technicians.
- Mentor staff and contribute to organizational growth.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Gain diverse project experience and advance your career.
- Multiple paths including technical, project management, and leadership roles.
- Option for hybrid or remote work at manager’s discretion.
- PE license required.
- Design experience in site grading, ADA compliance, water/sewer, parking, roads, stormwater.
- Experience preparing construction documents.
- Ability to engage with governmental agencies.
- Experience with state agencies or DOT is a plus.
- Ability to work well with clients, staff, regulators, and contractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years in Site Design, Civil Engineering, or Land Development.
- Professional Engineering License.
