Electrical Mechanical Technician (Automation Engineer Senior Analyst)

• Maintain high‑performing automation systems by executing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across PLCs, robotics, controls, and electro‑mechanical systems to minimize downtime and restore production quickly.
• Improve equipment reliability by monitoring performance trends and increasing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
• Identify root causes of system issues and implement lasting solutions that enhance machine performance and consistency.
• Support continuous improvement by recommending and implementing equipment upgrades, modifications, and process enhancements.
• Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to detect early signs of performance degradation and prevent failures.
• Document all maintenance activities, labor hours, and parts usage in CMMS (MAXIMO) to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Partner with engineering, developers, and operations teams to improve system design and operational efficiency.
• Maintain readiness to support operations through on‑call responsibilities and flexible scheduling.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of hands‑on experience working with automated or industrial electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, I/O systems, and field devices in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to repair, adjust, and maintain mechanical and pneumatic systems with precision.
• Working knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as MAXIMO.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement solutions.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and support on‑call operations.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical field.
• Experience in a high‑volume or pharmaceutical production environment.
• Familiarity with robotics and automated control systems.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1910 safety standards or formal safety training.
• Experience supporting equipment upgrades, system integrations, or process improvements.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to support other facilities.
