CATIA Modeler

This is a part-time, contractor role for remote work.

ATT is a metrology integrator and service provider serving the manufacturing sector with quality assurance solutions.

• Convert high-resolution 3D scan data into authoritative CATIA V5 models, developing definitive surface geometry that represents as-built tooling.
• Develop CATIA V5 CATPart deliverables that include tool reference geometry such as surfaces, trim boundaries, holes, curves, points, and vectors, built directly in aircraft coordinate systems (waterline, buttline, fuselage station).
• Create fully enclosed solid models of tooling positioned correctly in aircraft coordinates.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline.
• Strong hands‑on experience with CATIA (V5 or 3
  
  DEXPERIENCE) for solid modeling, assemblies, and drawing creation.
• Experience designing or supporting master gages, checking fixtures, or aerospace production tooling.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and its application to tooling and inspection strategies.
• Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and inspection workflows.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and model‑based definitions (MBD).
• Familiarity with dimensional metrology concepts and inspection equipment (CMMs, portable arms, laser trackers) is a plus.
• Experience supporting regulated aerospace environments (AS9100, customer‑specific requirements) preferred.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently on technically complex tasks.
