We are seeking a skilled Geospatial Analyst to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in imagery analysis, feature data extraction from satellite imagery, and digital mapping. Responsibilities

* Perform feature data extraction from satellite imagery and digital mapping tasks.

* Consistently complete tasks within estimated hours and meet quality standards.

* Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and milestones.

* Provide high-level confidence in completing assigned tasks during interviews.

* Support various projects by mapping topographic features such as roads, rivers, and buildings.

Essential Skills

* Proven experience in geospatial analysis and GIS

* Experience supporting the NGA or Janus Geography contract performing feature data extraction

* Self-motivated and assertive with excellent communication skills

* Ability to work in a remote production environment and meet or exceed milestones.

* Comfortable with sitting at a desk and working on a computer for at least eight hours per day.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* BS degree in Geography, GIS, or related field with multiple GIS courses or equivalent GIS experience..

* TDS, MGCP, MUVD, and conflation.

* Open to working more than 40 hours per week if necessary to meet deadlines.

* Personal computer and internet access for remote work.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to support the US Government from the comfort of your home. Team members use their personal computers to access their assigned computer for work. The role involves extensive computer-based tasks, requiring eight or more hours of desk work daily.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Huntsville, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
