New York, NY (100% remote work allowed, up to 20% travel for in-person meetings/site visits)

• Develop theoretical models of renewable energy systems based on physics, chemistry, and engineering principles.
• Translate domain‑specific calculations into Python code and integrate them into the cloud‑based modeling platform.
• Validate and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Maintain Python‑based modeling tools within the integrated platform.
• Write and maintain documentation and user guides.
• Train and assist users on supported models and tools.
• Assist in economic optimization of engineering designs and provide design direction for non‑standard projects.
• Assist on data analysis and data science projects.

• Master’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related field.
• Experience with renewable energy technologies:
  Solar PV, Wind, Li‑Ion batteries.
• Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or R with power flow modeling.
• Knowledge of DC circuits, AC circuits, power conversion systems.
• Skills in data analysis, validation, and presentation (cleaning, correlation, linear regression, visualization).
• Technical writing experience (documentation, reports, white papers).
• Experience with green H2, non‑Li‑Ion BESS, ESS beyond batteries, Geothermal, concentrated solar power, thermal energy storage, microgrids.
• Experience gained through work, coursework, or academic pursuit.

Base salary: $120,350 – $148,325 per year (may vary based on market location, experience, and other factors). Includes annual bonus. Additional benefits are available.
