Position Type:
Onsite – Employees working mainly on site with limited remote work. Residence in the U.S. required; U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status (Green Card) is mandatory.

- Execute defined projects focused on high‑temperature alloy development, characterization, and production implementation to enable new capabilities on current and future jet engines.
- Provide engineering judgement and expertise to characterize, quantify, and understand material capabilities of legacy and novel alloys.
- Work on projects spanning new/repair technology development, engine safety, production support, and cost reduction to meet business‑driven needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners on multi‑disciplinary teams to identify opportunities and create solutions that support business needs.
- Work autonomously with limited oversight on complex projects.
- Serve customers across the enterprise (supply chain, engine programs, advanced technology) to plan, execute, and report on technical research and development projects.
- Communicate effectively across many levels of the organization to both internal and external stakeholders.
- B.S. degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or Chemistry.
- Minimum of 5years relevant engineering experience, or 3years with an advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.).
- U.S. Person or Permanent Resident (Green Card) holder.
- Experience with alloy development, characterization, and processing techniques for high‑temperature aerospace alloys.
- Familiarity with computational modeling tools to build and understand processing, structure–property relationships, including mechanically and environmentally driven failure modes.
- Flexibility to adapt to fluid customer requirements, priorities, and schedules and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Self‑motivation to plan and execute required tasks and lead a team to achieve significant goals with little outside direction.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team with strong communication skills.
Salary range: $86,800–$165,200 USD (reflecting experience level). Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, paid time off, holidays and parental leave. Additional compensation may include short‑term or long‑term incentive programs subject to business and performance conditions.
Relocation package may be available.
