System Engineer Data Center Infrastructure

Are you eager to help manage and optimise our data center infrastructure? Do you have experience with electricity, HVAC, fire safety, security and/or project management?

• You coordinate initiated projects, monitor and evaluate external parties involved in these projects.
• You prepare and manage documentation related to the specifications of technical installations.
• You oversee and optimise maintenance activities to ensure the correct operation of technical installations.
• You coordinate and carry out technical support tasks related to the existing infrastructure.
• You manage technical procedures and standard solutions within Global Operations, in line with applicable norms, standards, and procedures.
• You monitor the progress, budget, quality, risks, and communication of the projects entrusted to you.
• You perform in‑depth analyses of electrical, HVAC and security installations.
• You participate in an on‑call duty (approximately 10 weeks per year).

• Master of Science in Industrial Sciences:
  Electromechanics (or equivalent).
• At least five years of experience, preferably within a data center environment.
• Experience with electricity, HVAC, fire safety, security and/or project management is essential.
• Interest in both technical project management and theoretical analysis.
• Eager to learn, passion for technology, and closely follow developments in relevant fields.
• Strong communication skills, flexibility, pragmatism.
• Innovative mindset with strong team spirit.
• Capacity to work at least two days per week from our data center in Hasselt (Universiteitslaan), combined with remote work.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
