Position Overview
As a CSA Construction Technical Services Specialist Lead
, you will be responsible for leading technical support and resolution of in-progress issues in world‑class data center projects. You will work closely with home office engineering, external firms, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate interpretation of drawings, specifications, and seamless execution of construction and permitting processes.
- Ensure liaison with home office engineering, outside engineering firms, and client representatives.
- Provide on‑site technical support in interpreting engineering documents, specifications, and drawings, and input to the change management process.
- Engage in the permitting process and with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).
- Work with Design‑Build contractors once their efforts move to the field.
- Effectively communicate with subcontractors to receive and manage all key drawings and documents in a revision‑controlled manner.
- Lead the construction document management process,
- providing oversight and guidance through a construction document control lead.

- Act as a technically competent lead in response to contractor or other party requests for specification deviation in work or work product, working within the project‑approved spec deviation process.
- Work with Field Quality, contractor, and Home Office Engineering to resolve nonconformities (NCRs).
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to your team toward meeting these objectives.
Based out of our Baton Rouge office, you will be on‑site at our project in St. Francisville, LA.
Qualifications- Minimum 10 years of experience in Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering or 15–20 years in construction management for heavy‑industrial process facilities, including life sciences and data centers. Heavy emphasis in structural engineering is required.
- Understanding of construction‑oriented means, methods, codes, and standards.
- Experience interpreting home office engineering documents for construction purposes.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience, including certified technical training.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand Civil/Structural/Architectural engineering drawings.
