Product Development Engineer – Sticks

We are seeking a Product Development Engineer who will be an integral member of our R&D team, responsible for developing new technologies and evolving our product lineup in the Sticks category. This role reports to the Product Development Director – Sticks.

• Managing CAD activities (internal & external) during the development process.
• Ensuring that technical documents meet industry standards, specifications, and specifying material tolerances and component tolerances, including 2D drawings.
• Managing the development process for new technical applications, parts, research projects, and new manufacturing processes when applicable.
• Supporting performance characterization efforts in the laboratory (instrumentation, etc.).
• Developing new laboratory testing protocols to refine our ability to quantify product performance.
• Working on industrialization projects with manufacturing partners.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably mechanical, or equivalent years of relevant experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in composites, injection molding, or painting application processes.
• Member and registered on the Roll of the OIQ – Order of Engineers of Quebec.
• Experience creating and using engineering drawings with Pro‑E.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
• Ability to participate in multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes in the composite industry.
• Lab testing and/or quality‑control experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Ability to travel abroad (USA & Asia) up to 15% of the time.
