Electrical Maintenance Technician
Attached to the Bois-Guillaume agency (76), you will join the Electric Distribution Services team and work directly with our industrial clients on existing electrical installations. You will operate in various demanding technical environments (heavy industry, petrochemical, nuclear, hospitals), in a regional area covering mainly Normandy (Rouen, Le Havre, Caen sectors). In this context, your key missions are as follows:
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of HV/LV installations, by intervening on high voltage cells and low voltage circuit breakers
- Carry out checks and verifications of equipment, to ensure their proper functioning and reliability over time
- Diagnose breakdowns, analyze malfunctions and ensure the safe return to service of installations
- Intervene in troubleshooting and participate in the replacement or modernization of electrical equipment (switching devices, circuit breakers, HV/LV components)
- Intervene on protection relays, with a first approach to automation and associated systems
- Read and exploit electrical diagrams to prepare and secure your interventions
- Carry out interventions independently or as part of a team, on projects that may last several days
- Ensure a quality client relationship, by explaining your interventions and representing Schneider Electric on site
Zone of intervention:
Normandy (Rouen, Le Havre, Caen mainly)
Regular detachments (projects of several days possible)
Possible interventions at night and on weekends
You are ideally from a Bac+2 type Electrotechnical BTS or equivalent training, or you have significant experience in industrial electrical maintenance. You have experience in HV/LV environments, and you have already worked on equipment such as high voltage cells (SM6, RM6, VM6) or low voltage circuit breakers (Masterpact, Compact). You are comfortable with preventive, curative and troubleshooting maintenance. You are able to diagnose a breakdown, analyze a malfunction and intervene independently on electrical installations, including in demanding industrial environments.
Knowledge of protection relays or an aptitude for automation is a real asset for this position.
Rigorous and reliable, you attach particular importance to respecting procedures and the quality of your interventions. You are also attentive to safety issues and strictly apply the HSE rules on site. At ease in client relations, you know how to communicate professionally, adapt to different interlocutors and represent Schneider Electric during your interventions. Finally, you show flexibility and adaptability, essential in a service environment involving travel, detachment and variable hours.
