Geotechnical Engineer
Execute geotechnical investigations of basic and moderate size and complexity.
Coordinate and manage geotechnical field explorations.
Assign geotechnical laboratory testing programs and review test results.
Perform geotechnical analyses including shallow foundation bearing capacity and settlement evaluations.
Conduct deep foundation analyses for drilled shafts, auger cast piles, driven piles, and related systems.
Perform slope stability evaluations and geotechnical engineering assessments.
Prepare geotechnical reports, recommendations, and technical proposals.
Manage geotechnical projects from planning through completion.
Provide technical oversight and direction for field and laboratory activities.
Collaborate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to deliver engineering solutions.
Support infrastructure projects across transportation, energy, industrial, water, commercial, and government sectors.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering from an accredited university.
10-15 years of geotechnical engineering experience preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) License in Tennessee or ability to obtain within three months.
Strong geotechnical project management experience.
Strong technical writing and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience using Geo Studio and LPILE software.
Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to commute or relocate to the Nashville/Goodlettsville, TN area.
