Position:

Full-Time Structural Designer
0 to 4 years of experience in structural engineering

Location:

In Office (occasional remote work after probationary period)

Responsibilities:

Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of building materials using various building codes and standards (i.e. IBC, IEBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, UFC)
Participate in field surveys and document existing conditions
Communicate and coordinate with architects and engineers of other disciplines
Review and evaluate existing building structural systems
Prepare drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
Write technical reports
Review construction submittals, participate in construction observation, and respond to contractor inquiries

Required Qualifications:

Able to work freely in the US now and in the future without sponsorship
Degree Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE), Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (BAE), or Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering (BSAE), or equivalent, with coursework specialized towards structural engineering
- Master’s Degree a plus
Registered EIT or in pursuit of EIT license
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good organizational, time-management, and team skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to be challenged and develop new skills
