LEE + RO’s Walnut Creek office is seeking a Mid-Level Project Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. As a mid-level Project Manager, you will work with senior project managers and other team members across multiple disciplines to execute work on variety of stormwater, water and wastewater projects, including potable water/wastewater/recycled treatment facility, water resources, conveyance systems and assist with other key aspects of design and construction support (e.g., technical writing, specifications, review construction submittals and RFIs, etc.). You must have experience in one or more of the following areas - pipelines, hydraulics, pump stations, and water and wastewater treatment plants, and construction support services.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Manage and execute project work on stormwater, wastewater and water utilities projects.
- Ensure direct coordination and collaboration with clients to achieve successful project outcome.
- Manage multi-discipline teams across remote offices, ensuring communication and coordination to meet project deliverables.
- Supervise, delegate, review and oversee the work and assignments staff engineers and designers to ensure budget and schedule objectives are met.
PROJECT EXECUTION
- Manage the delivery and execution of multiple large and small projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards, including oversight of subconsultants.
- Evaluate progress of the project staff and results obtained and recommend changes to achieve overall project objectives.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and teaming partners. Collaborate closely with LEE+RO’s leadership team and technical experts to identify business opportunities and develop strategies.
- Actively interact with assigned clients, participate in client-related activities, and promote LEE+RO's presence through involvement in client and networking initiatives.
- Assist in proposal development, interview, fee development and negotiations for various project pursuits.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-10 years of relevant experience within the water/wastewater/stormwater industry, including planning, engineering, design, project management, and public water infrastructure projects.
- EIT Certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
- Understanding of budgets and financial metrics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interest in the water/wastewater industry.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- State of California PE Certification (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical). If no CA PE Certification, then must be willing to obtain within 1 year of employment.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- PMP Certification.
SALARY RANGE: $79,040 - $151,840/yr.
