Position OverviewThe candidate will assume end‑to‑end responsibility for applied research and cyber capability development projects, ensuring successful execution from concept through implementation.
- Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process
- Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation
- Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts
- Communicate with other program personnel, Government overseers, and senior executives
- Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
- Provide engineering guidance to technical staff and establishes effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners
- Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, which may include high‑level decision makers
- Work complex research projects as senior contributors and as part of an integrated research team
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in System Engineering or related discipline (Four years of relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree)
- Active CISSP, CASP+CE, CSSLP certification (minimum DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Certification)
- Exposure to Cloud/AWS
- An engineering‑driven problem solver who can step into a project, quickly assess the situation, and design practical, effective solutions
- Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)
- Able to build systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineering
Salary Band; $201,000 - $240,000
