Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 3-12 years of experience focusing on transmission and distribution projects for a large utility. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work under stress. Candidates should have a solid understanding of P6 or MS Project, as well as financials. The position offers the flexibility of remote work with the expectation of traveling one week per month, with travel expenses covered.

Responsibilities

+ Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.

+ Oversee engineering design, land, construction, and overall administration.

+ Present to high-level executives and prepare slide decks.

+ Manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

+ Coordinate project activities and ensure compliance with design and construction standards.

+ Provide managerial and technical oversight for the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of assigned projects.

+ Work with leaders to determine team resources and lead multidisciplinary teams.

+ Manage budgets and project resources across business units.

+ Develop comprehensive execution plans and communicate status updates to management.

Essential Skills

+ 3-12 years of project management experience.

+ Expertise in construction management.

+

Experience with Requests for Information (RFI) and Change Orders.

+ Knowledge of electrical projects.

+ High voltage transmission and distribution experience.

+ Project engineering and coordination skills.

+ Strong presentation and communication abilities.

Work Environment

This position involves a combination of remote, office, and on-site work. Candidates should be flexible and willing to travel one week per month. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
