BIM Designer To Project BIM Designer

Saiful Bouquet is an internationally recognized, award-winning structural engineering firm, with two offices in Southern California. We are currently seeking candidates for BIM Designer to Project BIM Designer positions to join us in our headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles, located on the 37th Floor of 725 S. Figueroa Street or in our San Diego office located in the Gaslamp Quarter at 225 Broadway.

The BIM Designer and Project BIM Designer position involves modeling and detailing of structural systems for large, complex structures in many market sectors, primarily Type I construction. Applicant must be able to coordinate with other BIM staff, engineers, architects, and other consultants and will work directly with a Project Manager and a team of structural engineers in a dynamic office environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • 0 to 6 years of Revit experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Revit to produce 3D structural models based on architectural and/or MEP 3D models.
  • Ability to create 2D structural details from information provided from engineer, architect and/or MEP.
  • Ability to model in Revit environment and maintain/update current models in ongoing projects.
  • Understanding of the practice of Structural Engineering, including project delivery & construction methods.
  • Scripting in Revit API, Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper knowledge is a plus.
  • Capable of delivering project documents under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong communication and people skills, and team players required.
  • All candidates must be eligible to work and are located in the US.
