Civil Engineer
Location:
South/Central Florida near West Palm Beach Salary: $165,000 – $250,000 Job Type: On‐Site/Some Remote
A NJ‐based Civil Engineering company that is growing rapidly in Florida, is looking to hire a Civil Engineer to execute upcoming projects and operations effectively. The details of the role are as below:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Senior Engineer in Florida and the Design, Draft, and Project Management in NJ to design and engineer Florida site plans and subdivisions
- Train and supervise the Florida team as it grows
- Advise the CAD management team on Florida specifications
- Conduct on‐site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, etc.)
- Mark up and draw plans that satisfy technical specifications
- Assess potential risks, materials, and costs related to the project and share the report with the management
- Provide advice and resolve emerging problems/deficiencies
- Comply with the guidelines and regulations of Florida stated including permits, safety, etc.
