Job Overview

At Jacobs we are seeking a Mid‑Level Plumbing Designer at several locations (Indianapolis, IN; Cary, NC; Conshohocken, PA; Cincinnati, OH). The designer will support advanced facility projects for large industrial clients, independently perform plumbing design assignments, coordinate with other engineering professionals, and assist on project sites to gather existing plumbing conditions and monitor construction.

• Develop plumbing designs using Revit and AutoCAD for waste and vent, domestic hot and cold water, and stormwater systems.
• Apply plumbing codes to ensure designs meet regulatory and client requirements.
• Perform clash detection and resolution and coordinate building systems.
• Assist in on‑site inspections and construction support.
• Coordinate work activities with design, engineering, and project management teams.

• Associate’s Degree in mechanical design or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of practical plumbing design experience.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• General knowledge of plumbing codes.
• Understanding of clash detection and building system coordination.

• Associate’s Degree in a related technical discipline.
• Experience collaborating in multi‑disciplinary, client‑based, and construction team environments.

The base salary range is $66,000–$110,000. Pay is hourly and based on hours worked; individual pay is determined by location and other factors.
