About the job Civil Transportation Team Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a transportation team based in the Indianapolis office.
  • Provide oversight and guidance on local, state, and federal highway projects.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, reporting directly to the Indiana Transportation Director.
  • Offer leadership for a wide array of projects, including specialty transportation work.
  • Work alongside talented teams of professionals across various disciplines, including transportation, water resources, and structural engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana.
  • 10+ years of experience in designing transportation infrastructure projects.
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects and leading project teams.
  • Experience working on public sector design projects (e.g., state, county, or municipal).
  • Strong project management skills, leadership capabilities, and ability to develop client relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, time management, and attention to detail.
