Minimum Requirements:

  • BSEE, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science required; MSEE preferred.
  • 2–4 years of RF engineering experience, with proficiency in small cell architecture and deployment.
  • Experience with: LTE, CBRS, UMTS, CDMA, and 5G (preferred).
  • Must possess: RF Design & Propagation (Atoll, IBWave, Mapinfo), Small Cell deployment, Power Engineering, Project Management.
  • Skilled with small cell RRUs, DAS design, 5-Step Commissioning, network optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with RF test equipment (power meters, spectrum analyzers, PIM/Sweep, pilot scanner, TEMs phones, CPE, power density probes).
  • AutoCAD expertise for node/power design.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Visio, Power BI; quick learner of new analytics and GIS tools.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work on multiple simultaneous projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical lead for small cell and DAS network design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Interface directly with customers and foster engineering partnerships.
  • Own DAS and small cell design: site selection, CW testing, data analysis, system modeling, and proposal documentation.
  • Review node candidate sites, validate A&E drawings, and provide wiring diagrams/BOM for node and power designs.
  • Create/modify power designs (AC/DC) using AutoCAD.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (FCC, OSHA, city requirements) for all deployments.
  • Coordinate or perform multi-node SCN system optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Support national RF initiatives, integration, and technology pilots.
  • Manage vendor relationships, RF configuration, and equipment forecasting.
  • Provide ongoing network support: configure, test, optimize, commission, and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Conduct field verification of deployments using test equipment and reporting results.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and system updates for all assets and changes.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated RF professional looking to advance in 5G and small cell technologies with a leading team. If you combine technical depth, strong organization, and thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, we'd like to meet you.
