** is now hiring a  
** Engineer I
** to support major road, highway projects for Caltrans, and projects for Rail & Transit Agencies.

** We offer hybrid remote working scenario for this role (meaning ability to work from home 1-2 days per week). This role does require reporting to our Corona office weekly.*
* ** Responsibilities:*
* + Assists in preparing design calculations, standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, technical reports, 3D modeling, design and engineering plans for assigned projects.

+ Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable.

+ Performs a variety of engineering tasks by applying standard engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline.  The Engineer at this level has experience and an increasing proficiency in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, and Company procedures.

+ Reviews small and portions of larger supplier drawing submittals and assists in performing technical bid analyses.

+ Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.

+ Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.

+ Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

** Requirements:*
* + 4-year degree in Engineering (or related field) and 3-5 years of related work experience.  In addition, an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be required.

** Skills/ Competencies** :

+ Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.

+ Experience in utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro Station, and/or Open Roads is desirable.

Salary Range: $63,600.00 - $
