Clean Harbors is seeking a Traveling Remediation Project Manager to join our national traveling team. The Remediation Project Manager is primarily responsible for running remediation projects at customer project sites and will supervise crews of laborers and operators while managing the project. This is a field-based role that typically involves four weeks of travel followed by one week of work from home.

Pay$80,000+ DOE, with annual bonus plan
TravelWill travel as needed to various project sites. The typical rotation is four weeks in the field followed by one week of remote work before returning to the field. This travel schedule is not negotiable.

- Serves as a Project Manager for Clean Harbors Environmental Construction group for environmental, civil construction and demolition projects
- Primarily responsible for proposal preparation, including cost estimates, work scopes and schedules
- Will supervise crews of laborers and heavy equipment operators in the field
- Acts as an agent of business, developing relationships with key customers and understanding their concerns and priorities
- Provides engineering and technical support to field service offices
- Provides technical support to Clean Harbors field service offices
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business
- Assists with procurement for projects including materials, equipment rental, temporary labor, and subcontractors
- Provides timely, concise and relevant information to superiors and subordinates
- Provides technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates and subcontractor selection and procurement
- Enforces policies and procedures related to Health & Safety and works closely with the Director of Health and Safety in resolving issues in an appropriate and timely manner
- 5+ years of demonstrated Project Management experience in environmental remediation/dirt work
- Cost estimating experience and ability to develop and present Project Change Orders
- Supervisor experience or experience running crews in the field
- Ability to review and interpret technical specifications and drawings
- Strong customer management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Federal and State regulations governing remedial sites
- Valid DL and clean MVR required
- Ability to shave for respirator fit test
- Ability to travel
- Position is physically demanding; candidates must navigate varied site conditions, lift 50 pounds unassisted, walk several miles per day, wear personal protective equipment, and operate in rugged terrain and steep slopes
- Requires walking, standing, sitting in vibrating equipment, climbing, working at heights, pulling, pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, crawling, stooping, crouching, and balance; requires speaking, listening, understanding, and writing English; requires color determination, depth perception, clarity of vision, and 20/20 eyesight (corrected or uncorrected)
- Must maintain a clean and organized work environment and a clean personal appearance; facial hair must comply with the company’s respiratory protection facial hair policy
