Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

All Tek Staffing is partnering with one of Pittsburgh's largest civil engineering firms to help them with growing their Geotechnical Group. They have an abundance of work and are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer. This is a direct hire role with vacation, benefits, 401k, and remote work flexibility.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Slope stability analysis
• Hydrology and hydraulic analysis
• Design of site civil and geotechnical structures such as earth retention structures
• Assist in dam rehabilitation projects
• Erosion and sediment control design
• Deep foundation design and analysis
• Construction monitoring and documentation activities
• Monitoring field geotechnical drilling and sampling activities
• Installation and monitoring of geotechnical instrumentation equipment
• Field surveying and field reconnaissance in support of geotechnical explorations and construction activities

Education and Experience:

A BS in Civil Engineering or similar discipline within 6 months of application. Engineer In Training (E.I.T.) or ability to obtain with 6 months of hiring. 0-5 years of experience (Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in site exploration, civil/foundation design and construction).
