Product Development Engineer
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Product Development Engineer at Instapath Inc. Instapath is seeking talented and experienced Software or Hardware Engineers to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating both software and/or hardware components of our imaging platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software or hardware, with a passion for developing innovative solutions that advance medical technology.
SoftwareDevelopment:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications that interface with Nova's hardware.
- Develop algorithms and software tools for image processing, data analysis, and system control.
- Optimize software performance for real-time imaging and processing.
- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and user-friendly interface design.
- Conduct software testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Design and develop hardware components, including imaging systems, sensors, and electronic circuits.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to select and integrate hardware components.
- Work closely with software engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of hardware components and systems.
- Ensure hardware designs meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Bachelor's or Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software or hardware development, preferably in medical devices or imaging systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python.
- Experience with hardware design, including PCB layout, embedded systems, and FPGA.
- Strong knowledge of image processing techniques and algorithms.
- Experience with medical device development, including knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, CE).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
