Senior Mechanical Engineer - Remote

Rock Hill, SC, US.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the Operating Plants Mechanical Systems area, you will work with a multi-discipline team of engineers in the design, analysis, and evaluation of systems using engineering software, supporting lead engineers. You will apply engineering principles and codes such as ASME and ANSI to design, analyze, and evaluate systems for operating nuclear power plants, new plants (e.g., AP1000, eVinci), and other nuclear projects.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Balance of Plant Mechanical Engineering and will be fully remote.

• Develop calculations and reports documenting design and analysis results in accordance with ASME Section III code requirements and other international codes.
• Interface with engineers in other disciplines such as electrical and civil/structural.
• Participate on project teams with internal and/or external representation.
• Participate in customer and vendor meetings to present technical materials and justify services and product designs.

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical (preferred), Civil, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Engineering in Training (EIT) license;
  Professional Engineer license is a plus.
• 5 to 10 years of engineering experience.
• Power industry (e.g., nuclear power plant) experience is a plus.

Base salary range: $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
