The Opportunity

Our transport team is at the heart of Arup's commitment to sustainable infrastructure in the transport sector. With our consulting services, we are a competent partner for project implementation and can look back on a solid portfolio of services from the last 10 years. Our current projects include transport infrastructure (highways, railways) and charging infrastructure (e-mobility). The projects also include PPP projects or project financing.

This is a new position within the team that allows you to work on long-term projects throughout Germany and accompany the projects in the different project phases.

As a Project Manager Transport at Arup, you will:

• accompany exciting projects as technical bank advisory (LTA)
• advise public and private clients
• take over project management in infrastructure projects in the areas of transport and energy infrastructure (e.g. charging infrastructure) over all service phases and life cycle phases
• work on innovative and sustainable approaches
• manage teams from different technical and economic disciplines
• participate in the creation of offers and the processing of tenders, and
• conduct coordination and communication with project stakeholders.

We are looking for colleagues who are enthusiastic about transport infrastructure projects. We also value:

• a university degree in civil engineering, transport engineering, business engineering or similar qualifications,
• good technical understanding in the field of transport infrastructure
• experience with project financing and/or PPP models
• project management experience
• confident German and good English skills in speech and writing.
