This position reports directly to the Product Marketing Director and functionally to the Global Portfolio Management of Grid Components.

This is a remote position. Candidates can be located anywhere in the US, with preference for Cary, NC or Houston, TX.

Market strategy leadership — Drive U.S. growth by identifying new utility/industrial automation opportunities, shaping market penetration strategy, and securing product homologation with key utilities.

Technical engagement — Act as a grid-automation SME, lead pre-sales technical activities, and support solution design across architectures, protection systems, and integration workflows.

Standards influence — Contribute to vPAC and IEEE working groups, representing the company to help shape emerging grid automation standards and interoperability frameworks.

Ecosystem & innovation Build strategic partnerships, represent the company at industry forums, and channel field insights to evolve offerings like SSC
600, SMU
600, and CogniEN.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technical business development, preferably in grid automation or power systems.
• Deep understanding of U.S. utility market dynamics, standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC 61850), and digital substation architectures.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SaaS or subscription-based business models in the energy sector.
• Familiarity with DERMS, DLR, and network state estimation technologies.
• Ability to travel up to 30% - domestic and international - may be required.
