Project Development Director for Spain

Project Development Director for Spain identifies, analyses and executes utility scale solar opportunities to develop, build, and operate solar projects in Spain. He/she will be responsible of building own team for the development of projects from land acquisition stage through the permitting process to obtaining the ready-to-build status.

• Implementation, development and follow-up of development strategy on the Spanish market;
• Build and manage own development team, conducting full permitting process for Spanish market, supervise negotiations;
• Bringing new opportunities and development of internal strategy approach;
• Project development for permitting processes before administration and utilities in order to obtain construction permits;
• Overseeing renewable energy project management of the team;
• Negotiate and secure lease agreements;
  Research regulatory framework to identify best business development options;

• 3 years+ solar project permitting experience
• Experience in site assessment, grid and construction permitting and grid connection processes;
• Languages:
  
  fluency in Spain and English;
• In-depth solar energy sector knowledge and legal aspects of the permitting process is required;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Focused and goal-oriented.
