Summary:
Our client is a global professional services firm that provides engineering, design, construction, and consulting solutions across infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, energy, water, and government sectors. As a Commissioning Specialist, you will participate in both onsite and office activities to support Commissioning projects. You will have the opportunity to lead and perform all commissioning related activities to include testing (QA/QC, Functional Performance), equipment and systems start-up, resulting in a safe and functional environment that meets established design requirements and stakeholder expectations.
Projects that you will engage with will include commissioning, retro-commissioning and re-commissioning projects. You will have the responsibility of working directly with clients, project stakeholders, and contractors to achieve the best possible outcome for the owner/client with a focus on operational performance and efficiency. This position will involve up to 50% travel. We are open to candidates in the continental U.S., but preferred locations would be near Phoenix, AZ or Northern Virginia.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent years of experience
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in commissioning activities such as: utility infrastructure, life safety, electrical power systems, low voltage systems, building/facility systems/components, and facility O&M. Mission Critical Experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of NFPA, NETA and NICET electrical testing and code requirements
- US Citizenship
