Walter P Moore seeks a well-prepared graduate from a top engineering school to join our Construction Engineering Services team within the Structures Group. The graduate engineer will support project managers by analyzing and validating structures at various construction stages, developing construction sequencing for complex structures, designing temporary structures to support construction, and designing steel connections.

In this role, you will participate on project design teams for architectural projects of all types, including commercial, sports, aviation, healthcare, education, and cultural buildings, and will take part in our industry-leading staff development program, MOORE Learning.

• Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering
• EIT certification
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) preferred
• Demonstrated strength in steel design, steel connection design, and structural analysis
• SAP 2000 modeling experience
• Work experience/internships with contractors, steel fabricators, or steel erectors strongly preferred

Work options include in-office and home office environments. A one‑time $1,000 stipend will be paid upon completion of the first week of employment to establish a suitable home office space. An additional $50 monthly stipend will also be provided to cover ongoing home office expenses.

Annual salary range: $71,000 – $84,000 in Denver; $75,000 – $88,000 in San Diego.
