, with a desire to work in a team-oriented environment specializing in municipal water, wastewater, storm water, streets, and associated planning and project management. shaping projects from concept through construction.

building lasting relationships with clients and coworkers.

managing a project team made up of licensed engineers, eits and other project team members through the life of a project.

preparing scopes and proposals for prospective projects.

contribute to community growth, development, and improvement.

10+ years of project management experience helping communities manage, maintain, and upgrade their infrastructure.

bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, geotechnical, electrical, environmental, or another relevant engineering discipline a plus but not required.

experience planning and designing projects related to water, wastewater, storm water, and/or transportation infrastructure.

aptitude with microsoft office products and autocad civil 3d. Experience with modeling software a plus.

history of successful projects and satisfied clients.

signing bonuses between $5,000 and $25,000, depending on qualifications.

competitive salary (anticipated range: $90,000 to $140,000+ doe).

quarterly performance bonuses and year-end profit-sharing program (historically payouts as high as $35,000 in a year).

The civil west headquarters are located on the beautiful oregon coast in coos bay. Our engineers hold professional registrations in oregon, california, washington, and multiple other states. We offer opportunities to engage in communities, build lifelong friendships and practice many aspects of the trade.

we strive to provide a balance between work and non-work. Normal hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and employees are not expected to work more than 40 hours per week (although if they elect to do so, they are compensated in a number of ways). We have regular company get-togethers where all offices have a chance to have fun, play games, and enjoy each other’s company.

most of our work occurs throughout oregon, at one of our four office locations on the north coast (newport), willamette valley (albany), south coast (coos bay), and rogue valley (medford). We have work on projects outside of oregon including projects in hawaii, washington, california among a few other states. We are always looking for new and exciting projects to support no matter their location.
