Overview/SummaryOur Client is a global professional services firm that provides engineering, design, construction, and consulting solutions across infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, energy, water, and government sectors.
As a Commissioning Specialist, you will participate in both onsite and office activities to support commissioning projects. You will lead and perform all commissioning related activities, including testing (QA/QC, Functional Performance), equipment and systems start‑up, resulting in a safe and functional environment that meets established design requirements and stakeholder expectations. Projects will include commissioning, retro‑commissioning, and re‑commissioning. You will work directly with clients, project stakeholders, and contractors to achieve the best possible outcome for the owner/client with a focus on operational performance and efficiency.
This position will involve up to 50% travel. Preferred locations are near Phoenix, AZ or Northern Virginia.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent years of experience
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in commissioning activities such as utility infrastructure, life safety, electrical power systems, low voltage systems, building/facility systems/components, and facility O&M. Mission Critical experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of NFPA, NETA, and NICET electrical testing and code requirements
- US Citizenship
