Our Environmental Compliance group is seeking a full-time Environmental Specialist (engineer, scientist, or analyst) to support environmental compliance, construction oversight, site investigation, remediation, and stormwater-related projects throughout Connecticut.
This position reports directly to project sites statewide and offers a unique mix of both field and office responsibilities. Candidates can generally expect a workload of 60% field work and 40% office-based work, though this may vary depending on project demands, seasonal workloads, weather, and client needs.
Responsibilities- Conduct environmental inspections
- Oversee soil management and remediation activities
- Collect environmental samples
- Support subsurface investigations
- Prepare technical documentation
This role requires regular communication with project managers, team members, engineers, and contractors. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, with the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing schedules, locations, and weather conditions.
