In the context of the development of our activities in railway innovation and communication, we are looking for a:

Intern Network & Telecom Engineer (5G/IP) H/F

Your adventure begins here:

Within the Integrated Communications & Supervision (ICS) Department, you will join a team of experts in networks, telecommunications, and cybersecurity, working on critical systems with high performance and reliability requirements.

You will contribute to the development of innovative solutions aimed at improving the connectivity of railway systems, the automation of transport, and the resilience of infrastructures, with the main missions being:

• Design, integrate, and validate critical railway network architectures
• Configure and implement communication solutions (IP, 4G/5G, Satellite)
• Develop mockups and test platforms in a virtualized environment
• Analyze network performance (latency, bandwidth, packet loss) using specialized tools
• Participate in the implementation of cybersecurity solutions (authentication, secure streams, VPN)
• Contribute to innovation and R&D projects on communication technologies (5G/6G, edge computing)
• Produce technical documentation and participate in knowledge capitalization
• Participate in laboratory and possibly field tests

What we expect from you:

• Course of study from Bac+3 to Bac+5 in computer science, networks, or telecommunications
• Mastery of network fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, switching
• Knowledge of communication technologies: 4G/5G, satellite
• Notions of virtualization (VMware, Virtual Box, Docker…) and test environments
• Basics in cybersecurity (authentication, VPN, encryption, identity management)
• Ability to analyze system performance and diagnose anomalies
• Operational technical English level (reading documentation, writing, professional exchanges)
• Good analytical spirit, rigor, and ability to work on complex systems
• Team spirit, technical curiosity, and an appetite for innovation
