About the Role
In this role, you will serve as a key electrical engineering resource supporting production, maintenance, and engineering teams. You will be responsible for improving system reliability, leading electrical projects from concept through commissioning, and ensuring electrical systems are safely integrated into manufacturing processes. You will also partner cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues, implement long-term solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead electrical engineering projects from concept through commissioning, including scope development, design, procurement, and execution
- Partner with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement sustainable solutions
- Design and implement process improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and operational performance
- Develop and support programs for new and existing electrical systems, including upgrades to equipment and infrastructure
- Apply structured problem‑solving techniques, including root cause analysis, to resolve recurring issues
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and mentor others to strengthen technical capability within the plant
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives, motors, and power distribution systems
- Experience managing or supporting electrical projects
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Approximately 2+ years of relevant engineering experience or strong internship/co‑op experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with root cause problem solving methodologies
- Experience leading capital or improvement projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
