Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Staff or Principal AMS Design Verification Engineer to lead the mixed‑mode design verification methodology. The role involves defining the co‑simulation EDA environment, developing models for co‑simulation, and driving innovative solutions that support Blue Origin’s mission of enabling millions to live and work in space.

- Position based in San Diego, CA; the Bay Area, CA; or Renton, WA. Temporary remote work denied during site development.
- Define the co‑simulation methodology and EDA infrastructure in collaboration with analog and digital teams.
- Create Verilog/System Verilog test benches and behavioral models of analog and mixed‑mode circuits.
- Develop block‑ and chip‑level mixed‑mode verification methodologies.
- Support analog and digital teams during model bring‑up and usage.
- Perform AMS simulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Hands‑on experience in CMOS analog and mixed‑signal circuit design and verification.
- Verilog/System Verilog modeling of functional behavior of analog/mixed‑signal circuits and systems.
- Proficiency with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso for schematic creation and simulation.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python and MATLAB.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or otherwise legally admitted to the U.S.
- MS or PhD in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with AMS verification in advanced FinFET technology nodes.
