Job Overview
Analyze, interpret, and compile engineering data requirements—including Engineering drawings, Engineering Change Notices, Release Control Summaries, Wire Lists, Wiring Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams, Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs), Customer‑driven Program Change Requests, and Engineering Change Proposals—to determine which parts are required for a country‑specific Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB) Technical Order. Use the compiled data to accurately input information into Lockheed Martin authoring systems (Mainframe, Aeronautics Integrated Parts Data System) to create or modify IPB Technical Manuals in support of the F‑16 Program.
Position located in Fort Worth, TX.
Obtain a passing score on the assessment test.
Responsibilities- Analyze, interpret, and compile data requirements from engineering drawings and related documentation.
- Develop correct inputs for Lockheed Martin authoring systems to produce or update IPB Technical Manuals.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with technical order specifications for the F‑16 Program.
- Adapt quickly to changing circumstances and priorities, demonstrating resilience and resourcefulness.
- Organize tasks and priorities efficiently, maintaining focus while working from home.
- Maintain a strong focus on achieving project deliverables and team objectives.
- Apply strong analytical skills to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating general software systems, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience working with engineering databases.
- General knowledge of aircraft procedures.
- 12 months of working experience and/or training in aircraft maintenance.
- Technical trade‑school training in aircraft maintenance.
- Familiarity with military specifications.
- Technical writing experience.
- Previous experience in development and maintenance of Illustrated Parts Breakdowns.
- Knowledge of Aeronautics Integrated Parts Data System (AIPDS) for creating or modifying IPB Manuals.
- Working knowledge of Maintenance Integrated Data Access System (MIDAS) and the Air Force Technical Order System.
- Ability to use Lockheed Martin authoring systems and Technical Manual Development tools.
This position requires a government security clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. Clearance Level: Secret.
