Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for a degreed Engineer 2 to fill a three-year contract assignment in the Forest Park, GA area. This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

Forest Park, GA Work Schedule is in office 4 days, typically work from home is Friday Requirements: PPE:

Education & Experience:

5-7 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor's degree.

Applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systems. Supporting estimate preparation, developing design options, and preparing construction specifications. Providing guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages Creating a safe work environment by putting safety first Understanding the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance Understanding the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance Understanding design practices and work processes, using all software applications used in design Supporting design standard and criteria development for the system Supporting construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations Estimating material for projects, transmitting construction packages, and supporting specifications.

Good engineering knowledge Problem-solving skills Some discretion making independent decisions based on procedure and review with supervisor Discipline software knowledge Strong work ethic Positive attitude The ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors
