* DESCRIPTION:

** As an
** Engineering Manager
** at Frontier-Kemper, you will have the opportunity to:
* Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team of 10 Professional Engineers, along with more than eight engineers, designers, and detailers based in Evansville, IN.
* Oversee all engineering and design functions across three operational divisions:
Heavy Civil Tunneling, Mine Development, and OEM Equipment Manufacturing/FKC-Lake Shore.
* Manage and maintain project engineering schedules and budgets.
* Serve as the technical liaison with Division Managers, clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
* Direct and coordinate engineering, operational, and quality initiatives to improve cost, delivery, and performance.
* Ensure that all designs meet commercial, customer, regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
* Lead three discipline managers in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical engineering.
* Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
** REQUIREMENTS:
*** Bachelor’s degree or higher from an ABET-accredited institution.
* Minimum of 15 years of related engineering experience.
* Minimum of 10 years of operations management and/or engineering leadership experience.
* Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
* Strong technical background in Heavy Civil or Mining Construction.
* Equipment design and manufacturing experience preferred.
* Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating high-performing engineering teams.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong analytical and computer skills.
