Opportunity- Support design engineering and analysis on transmission scopes.
- Support large, extensive 345kV+ rebuild and greenfield projects, including trending technologies such as HVDC and 765kV.
- Collect and assimilate data, perform research, and prepare calculations in accordance with company and industry standards.
- Develop recommendations for equipment and materials, ensuring work stays within budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Guide engineering team members as needed.
- Maintain positive client relationships through effective communication.
- Assist with business development activities.
- Serve as a technical specialist or in a lead role.
- Apply advanced engineering techniques with minimal supervision.
- Expand knowledge and skill set within the discipline.
- Provide guidance on design guides, standards, systems, engineering codes, and company policies; maintain or develop engineering standards.
- Ensure compliance with the quality program, support continuous improvement, and manage risk.
- Prepare complex engineering deliverables, conduct research, and recommend equipment or materials.
- Perform complex calculations and manage assigned budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams on complex projects; define schedules for single or multiple disciplines.
- Identify client interests and communicate them to the project team.
- Support business development and pursue future client needs.
- Act as a technical specialist, applying advanced engineering concepts to unique challenges.
- Oversee performance management, career planning, and training of junior staff.
- Strong experience in 69kV to 500kV overhead transmission line design and proficiency with Power Line system software.
- Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of design principles and applicable standards for the discipline.
- Client interaction experience and relationship‑building skills for business opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
- Ability to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background checks, drug screening, etc.).
Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days based on manager discretion and job performance.
CertificationsProfessional registration or licensure in the home office country, or active pursuit of such registration.
