The School of Engineering Design and Innovation (SEDI) within the College of Engineering is seeking individuals for part‑time teaching positions.
A Master’s Degree, in engineering or a closely related field, or similar education and experience is required. Applicants should be interested in teaching as part of programs that are offered by the School. These include:
- Engineering Design (EDSGN) Program
- Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ENTI) Minor
- Engineering Leadership Development (ELD) Program
- Law, Policy, and Engineering (LPE) Program
- Doctor of Engineering in Engineering (D.Eng.) Program

Courses within the Engineering Design program, particularly the cornerstone engineering design course, assist students in learning design processes, methods, and decision‑making tools while engaged in team‑based design projects. Effective use of communication skills and computer‑aided analysis tools are an integral part of the cornerstone engineering design course.
Courses in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Minor support the Technology‑Based Entrepreneurship or Social Entrepreneurship cluster and help students develop entrepreneurial behavior and innovative thinking.
Courses in Engineering Leadership Development give students an understanding of individual, team, and organizational leadership; business acumen, global competencies, multicultural awareness; and innovation and management.
Courses in Law, Policy, and Engineering aim to provide new cross‑disciplinary perspectives and tools to solve complex multidisciplinary problems and address societal changes. Students will learn science and technology policy, legal and regulatory policy, complex systems design, and how to anticipate technology trends.
The Doctor of Engineering in Engineering program is an online program that combines advanced engineering and high‑level leadership principles, preparing graduates to direct high‑performing research divisions or companies.
