In this role, you will serve as a key environmental leader, guiding compliance strategies and supporting operational and capital projects while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. • Serve as the lead environmental compliance expert for operational (OpEx) and capital (Cap Ex) projects across the organization.
• Partner with engineering, operations, legal, and regulatory stakeholders to develop and implement environmental compliance programs covering air emissions, wastewater, stormwater, SPCC, groundwater, and hazardous waste management.
• Identify environmental risks and proactively develop practical, business-focused compliance and mitigation strategies.
• Lead permitting efforts, regulatory reporting, compliance audits, inspections, and agency interactions.
• Evaluate facility and process modifications to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable environmental regulations and permit requirements.
• Deliver environmental training programs and provide guidance to employees and leadership teams on regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Monitor emerging environmental regulations and communicate impacts, risks, and opportunities to management.
• Support corporate sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction, resource conservation, and regulated waste management programs.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts that enhance environmental performance while supporting operational objectives.

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5+ years of environmental compliance experience within manufacturing, industrial operations, consulting, or government regulatory environments.
• Strong knowledge in one or more environmental compliance areas, including air quality, wastewater, stormwater, groundwater, hazardous waste, or environmental permitting.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply environmental regulations, prepare technical reports, perform compliance calculations, and evaluate complex projects.
• Experience working directly with regulatory agencies and managing environmental compliance programs.
• Excellent problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
