Manufacturing Engineer Job Description
Primary Responsibilities- Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
- Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
- Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.
- Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.
Provides general supervision of work with assignments that require a thorough and practical knowledge of the technical or business discipline. May be assigned to small projects or to phases/portions of larger projects. Proficient with tools, systems, and procedures required by the work. Understands and applies most principles, theories, concepts, and techniques utilized in the discipline. Developing experience in the applicable discipline in solution creation and increasing business knowledge.
Provides resolution to various problems of moderately complex scope. Exercises judgment in the use of defined procedures and practices. Has mastered most of the basic job responsibilities. Contacts are typically with other members of the team, management, and/or outside the immediate organization. Failure to achieve goals may require additional resources to correct.
Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of experience, or Master’s with 0-1 year, or its equivalent.
CompensationBase Salary Range: $80,170.64 USD to $ USD. Starting pay may be influenced by geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
