We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior User Terminal System Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in the UT Engineering Team. In this position, you’ll work closely with external vendors on new UT development, evaluating the performance to ensure that the implementation is compliant with the System/UT requirements. The candidate also work closely with the internal software team architecting the embedded software for the User Terminal as well as overlooking the hardware development of the User Terminal.

For future UT roadmap, the candidate as part of the UT Engineering team will work closely with the E2E System Engineering in shaping the next generation of the UT. An enthusiastic software and hardware engineer with good understanding and experience in system engineering, user terminal architecture and embedded software know-how to work on our future UTs. The candidate is familiar with the industry best‑practice software development methodologies and design as well as hardware integration.

The candidate will be part of the Eutelsat User Terminal (UT) team within the Eutelsat End-to-End (E2E) Engineering group.

• Provide Technical Subject Matter Expertise (SME) support to the internal teams to define and shape the hardware design/architecture and functional specification of our new UT
• Provide SWaP and sizing trade‑offs/analysis as part of the UT hardware down‑selection process
• Working closely with the vendors down‑selecting hardware and support the integration firmware/software of the chosen hardware platform
• Support new UT development programs and guide/advice the UT vendors with the best engineering practice in terms of UT design and implementation
• Where applicable, support the team in the next generation UT architectural design, new ICD and requirement definitions
